I don't know why but my mfp is not letting me add friends. If your looking for someone to encourage you, I'm looking for the same. Feel free to add me. My first goal is to lose 50lb, then go from there. Let's be honest my first goal is to hit 199lb. I haven't been below 200 since elementary, and I'm 30 now. (True story) I've need over weight all my life. I did lose 40lb in the past and saw 199 for a day. But unfortunately gained all my weight back plus some.

The "new" way of adding friends is a bit wonky IMO. Try this: copy their handle/screen name, then go up to the top where it says "find members." Click on that and then on the next screen there's a dialogue box where you can paste their name. Once you've done that, it'll take you to their actual profile, where you have the option of clicking a green button with white text that says "add friend." Obviously if there's a temporary glitch of some sort, that may be utterly useless, but otherwise that should do the trick for ya.
Best of luck to you!0
