Iβd like to suggest archiving threads that have gone inactive over a year.
It cuts down on wasted time responding to people who are inactive or originally posted an eon ago.
Archiving allows members to read through old posts but not reply.

Seconded. Encourage people who stumble in to MFP by way of an 8-year-old thread about keto to make their own post. Maybe even put a link to the FAQs/most helpful threads right there in the message that says "this topic has been archived."1
