Still unable to delete a measurement tracking category

Once upon a time I used to use a FitBit and added it as a tracked measurement but now I no longer use one I have tried to delete it from my Tracked Measurements list (100+ pages of entries) and it always brings up a service error.

I tried very unsuccessfully to get support to do something about it but the Happy Clappy Fairies were less use than a chocolate teapot so I find myself having to delete the entries by hand when sat in front of the TV of an evening - there has to be a better way?
