Feeling Great!

I just had to share I've been going at it hard for a few months now and it is definitely starting to pay off.
Before my journey (and before I started planning a wedding!) I knew I was out of shape, knew I could lose a few pounds but it was never a priority to me. I wanted to get healthy and get into a routine of exercising regularly but I was just "too busy".
Well, when it came time to try on wedding dresses I knew I had to do something. I had just written a check for almost $3,000 to our photographer. I hated my arms, I hated knowing I had a lot of work to do before I would feel completely confident on my wedding day. I didn't want to look back on my wedding photos and immediately look at my imperfections. I didn't want to look back on my wedding day and be unhappy with the way I looked and wished I had started sooner. I bought my dress a size smaller than I was three months ago because I knew that was going to be a huge motivator for me, and I'm happy to say it fits now
Since December of 2012 I have lost about 20 lbs, but gained so much more My fiance told me this morning that I look skinny. I think that is one of the first times I can recall being told that. I just smiled and brushed it off but inside I was glowing  Before I started working out/running, I could do about a half mile before I wanted to die, now I a running 3-4 miles almost every day and it feels GREAT!
I read a quote the other day: "One day of eating is going to put on 20 lbs just like one day of dieting isn't going to take it off. It takes determination and dedication." My problem before is I wanted to see results right away, and when I didn't I wanted to give up. I felt like it was pointless. I am happier with my body and with myself more and more each day, and am now EXCITED about my wedding coming up in October rather than anxious about the way my arms will look!
