Does anyone know if there is a way to keep the exercise calories burned from adding them to my daily calorie intake? I do not wish to "eat" my calories back.

Yes, if you are a Premium subscriber you can opt to turn exercise calories "off" while still tracking them, so that they do not adjust your goals.

If you are on iOS or Android, it is one of the options listed under "My Premium Benefits" on the More/Menu screen.

You can either un-sync whatever tracker is adding to MFP or when the exercise calories burned entry is made just delete it manually.
