Garmin announces Epix 2 and Fenix 7

Options
It costs as much as the first used car I bought, but I guess the car didn't have GPS. Garmin has updated their Fenix line, and put the Venu 2 screen into one of them calling it Epix.

I'll wait to see whether the Fenix uses a better GPS antenna and algorythm for running as my 6s is underreporting distance bigtime, and has problems dealing with pace changes. Here a little add-on using a different algorythm for running, compared to Garmin. Doing stride repeats here. Partly, Garmin doesn't even recognize the pick up in pace, partly reacts too late too little. And when the GPS signal just gets a tiny bit less good the watch switches to instantaneous pace, which doesn't work at all for me as pace then just drops for some reason even if I run at constant speed. Btw the different algorythm is very similar to what my phone records. So the algorythm is fine, the watch rubbish.

I'm not thrilled that the Epix is smaller, and uses the smaller bands. I have some nice ones that won't fit.
