Plateaued and don’t know why

I need help. I’ve been logging every morsel, exercising a TON, drinking lots of water, meeting or being just under my calorie goal for 3 weeks and the last week I actually gained a pound. What the heck? I’ve lost 4 overall. I know that sounds good but gaining back a pound is so discouraging. Can anyone here tell me why that is and also do any of you have any tips? I eat almost all lean protein and fruits and veggies. I’m eating extremely healthy. I actually love fruits and veggies so that parts not that hard. What’s hard is giving up snacks at night but I’ve done a great job. Also cut back on alcohol by a lot. Help!

Exercising a TON = potential water weight retention, masking fat loss on the scale
Weight naturally fluctuates, it's normal to not lose weight every week. So be patient and look at the long term trend 🙂

PS: the foods you mention are healthy, sure, but don't neglect (healthy) fats, your body needs those too!2

You will not lose every week. Weight fluctuates due to fluid retention, waste in your system, etc.
One week is not a plateau...if you don't lose for 4 or more weeks, then think about re-evaluating what you are doing.
But for now, all you need is patience.4 -
That's not a plateau, a plateau is 4 or more weeks with nothing happening. Weight loss isn't a linear process. Your body is comprised of roughly 55-65% water and that will always fluctuate and those fluctuations show on the scale...because water has mass and thus weight. You will also have varying degrees of inherent waste in your system which also cause scale fluctuations. If you're female, hormones around your monthly can also exacerbate water weight fluctuations. Weight loss is a trend over time. You aren't going to lose exactly X Lbs every week. You will have weeks with bigger losses, smaller losses, no losses, and gains...this is why you have to look at the trends over time and averages and not get too caught up into the minutia of weight in to weigh in. This is what it looks like on a graph...for everyone...7
