Custom grams in food

Hi,

When scanning barcodes, in particular marinated raw chicken, it shows the wrong grams. It shows as 100g when in fact its 275g. Even if I select two servings, it's still missing 75g. Just wondering is there any suggestions?

I have a possible one where there is an option to select 1g and then make the servings 275 but this should have to be the way forward. Thanks!

100g is the serving size in order to be able to do the math. 275 grams would be a serving size of 2.75 servings.

The scan is just taking the information on the label...if you look at the labels on these types of things it will say something like "serving 100 grams", "servings per container varies". Because the 100 grams is a nice round number that makes the math easy. It's not saying the product itself weighs X grams. You just have to have a number available to do the math. Not every piece of chicken or whatever is going to have some uniform weight.

Is this the right product to start with? Thus do the calories and macros fit with what's on the package per 100gr?
Most weights in grams are per 100gr. But you can just enter 2.75 instead of one serving.

Or 275 servings of 1 gram each. 😁
