does any other petites find it like difficult to lose weight??

Hey so i just recently went to the doctor i am a little more taller now ... i was 5'2 but now 5'2.5 so like 158cm not that much but still. But does anyone else find it hard to lose weight... when i put it into the calculator it says 1485 to lose 1 lb if you workout like 180 mins per week of activity right.

so i did that last year and since learning finally about calorie counting and stuff i thought this really works... finally after years i am figuring this out without doing like so much restriction. Like now i love calorie counting! But idk so i did 1485 last year and i lost weight for like 2 months ish and then i got off track.. and then this summer i gained weight... so im starting over again, but like seriously it took so long... and btw eating 1485 and working out like 6 days a week i only lost like 1 lb a week.. like the calculator was spot on... But like when i go to the calculator to try to lose 2 lbs a week... it says like 1200... is there like no way i can keep it like 1300-1400 i didnt want to drop calories super low...

Has anyone had like success losing more then 2 lbs a week...like why do i lose weight so slow... am i eating the wrong amount of calories? or im not active enough? and btw last yeari only lost like 10 lbs and then i started plateauing

Of course you can keep it to 1300-1400 calories, and you will lose weight faster than you did at 1485 calories, but you're not going to double the speed of your weight loss.

Losing 1lb/week is not slow. When people lose substantially more than that, it's usually just in the first month of a new diet and it's usually mostly water weight.

I think you need to reset your expectations.1lb/week is a very good rate of loss if you stick with it. Also, do you know why you had a "plateau"??? How long did it last? Were you diligently sticking to your tracking and calorie limits? Why did you get off track?

The thing with worrying about how long it takes is that the time is going to pass anyway. Imagine how much weight you would have lost had you just stuck with 1lb/week last year? Now imagine looking back a year from now.

Be patient. Being in a rush and getting frustrated with the scale not moving for awhile is the main cause of weight loss failure.

One important thing to know is that if you used the MFP calculator to get this calorie goal, it is NOT "1485 to lose 1 lb if you workout like 180 mins per week." MFP asks for your exercise goals, but it is does not take them into consideration when giving you a calorie goal. If you exercise and log it in MFP, MFP will then tell you that you can/should eat more.
