I am new to MyFitnessPal after 19 days on Noom. I really enjoyed logging all my meals, my exercise classes and getting synced steps from my Apple Watch using Noom. I also found I was able to drink more water by being conscious of that and also conscious of the calories.
But the lack of weight loss (1lb in three weeks) left me frustrated and scratching my head over trying to understand what makes a baked potato a green item and a chicken breast a red item had me baffled.
My daughter suggested I learn to understand and work with macros and myfitnesspal apparently does that automatically.
I’m looking forward to losing this extra 40 pounds I’ve carried around for 12 years in a healthy and slow way while being conscious and mindful of what I’m eating and what I’m doing :-)

Have you started logging on MFP? I like that it figures the macros for you and you can tweak your foods to make everything fit your goals. Good luck!0
