Notifications on iPhone

I am sure I am just being stupid, but I honestly cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I cannot figure out how to see comment notifications on my iPhone. At this moment, I have the home community page open on both my laptop and my phone. Laptop shows that I have one notification (the bell has a red circle with a one in it), so I should see a corresponding alert somewhere on my iPhone and I cannot find it. What am I doing wrong? TIA
