Blendjet, like it? Hate it? Worth it?

I love the idea of a portable blender that is easy to clean, but at 40 bucks I'm pretty hesitant!
I don't "need" a blender, but I feel like it would mix protein and MRP shakes better, and give me a few more options to add mixins like fruit or veggies.
The ninja products are pretty good in general, but it's bigger, takes up space, and is even more expensive.
So I guess the issue is, is the blendjet worth the 40 dollar price tag? Or am I better off getting a higher end blender if I get anything at all?
