Ever seen a duck go up river?

Options
I am suprised by the number of posts on the message boards of people who have recieved negative feedback following thier weight loss, lack of support during their journey, and even sabotage by 'friends' and family. Unfortunately, I think that this is a natural response.

Ever seen a duck go up river?
You would never know that he is paddling like a madman under water as he glides effortlessly upstream atop the water.

All the 'nay sayers' only see you gliding gracefully upstream.
They cannot truely sympathize with your struggles, efforts and going ons under the water.
Their negativity requires less effort than having to follow you upstream.

They do not need to believe in you. You need to believe in you.

At the end of the day, the flock is only as strong as it's weakest member. It is time to move on, upstream.

Everyone wants to be healthy. Not everyone is willing to work for it.
Don't let the negative comments discourage you, let them empower you!

Yup, then he took off, and ended up in my freezer.

    beautifully said. and so true.
At the end we are our friend number one... or our worst ennemie.

Others only see see the outcome, not whatis inside. Only ourself know what are struggles we have to deal with.
