Anyone know how to log Leslie Sansone walking dvd?

To be honest I just log it as Walking, 3.5 mph or one of the other walking options in the database. I(I always log one less mile in case the calorie count is off--better to be safe than sorry!)0

What I do is I average out my mph and log it as walking.0

I log mine as Aerobics, high impact. I dont know about you but I sweat my BUTT off.. And in most of her videos- she says high impact work out.0

I usually take the miles and just log them as walking 4.0 mph. So, no matter how long the DVD takes me, if I do 3 miles, it's 45 minutes walking, etc. It's worked for me....she usually averages out to a 15 minute mile...or so she says in most of the videos. I've lost 16 lbs so far.0

Yeah, walking at something brisk (3.0, 3.5, 4.0) seems to come in about right, depending on how intense it gets. Like ones with jogging/"boosted walking" or more use of weights, you would use the 3.5 or 4.0, others use 3.0 or 3.5. Use your best judgment as to which fits that workout. I just got a HRM and compared a couple Leslie workouts to how I'd been recording them (as walking, or as general aerobics) and it looks like it was more or less accurate.0

That's good to know--I've wondered how accurate the counts were, that's why I would subtract a mile when entering for calories (but not for things like challenges.)0 -
I log as walking too -- usually 4.0 mph. For me, logging as that or low-impact aerobics works out about the same calorie-wise.0
