Steps from a fitness tracker

I have a fitness tracker not listed as one that can be connected to mfp. I don't have room on my phone for more other apps and I don't want to have my phone on me for every step I take. I would like a way to manually enter the steps shown on my tracker and get credit for them. Thanks

I second this -- think about an "old school" step tracker that clips onto a belt. Not everyone has a cell phone!0

Please add this feature! It's frustrating to not be able to have everything accessable for my weight coach in one app! (Just because my specific tracker is not on your list)0

Our apologies, but there is not currently a way to convert your step count into calories burned unless you have integrated your MyFitnessPal account with one of our integration partners (https://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps). Many of these partners can automatically log your burned calories based on your amount of walking or other exercise.
Keep in mind that we account for some amount of walking based on the "activity" level in your profile. If you take an additional walk for exercise and would like to get credit for the additional calories, we recommend logging this as "walking" in your Exercise diary, and recording the number of minutes walked.
Or if your pedometer reports the calories burned, you can add a custom exercise to your database and call it "pedometer" (https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032625831-Can-I-add-a-new-exercise-to-the-database).
If you would like to chart your steps walked on a daily basis, you can also add steps as a measurement (https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032624891-Can-I-track-additional-measurements-or-change-the-default-measurements)to track in your account.1
