Can you make instant pudding with almond milk--the package specifically states it won't work with soy, but has anybody tried almond? I am interested in making sugar free fat free instant pudding.

How long did it take to set--I tried it and it is not hardening in the least.

It doesn't set as well but if you use less almond milk it will work better. A better way to make pudding is by mixing the pudding into greek yogurt.. Protein packed and delicious!
  • When I tried, it didnt work

It's been six hours and the stuff is still watery. Daughter is disappointed (so am I).

It didn't set well when I tried it. It was edible after letting it chill over night.

Disolve some gelatine powder or leaves and stir in so you don't have to waste it all.

Bumped this. Add 2 tsps corn starch to the pudding mix prior to adding the almond milk; whisk and it will thicken right up.
