I feel less celebratory than I thought I would, but I keep catching covid and colds, so I'm feeling a bit worn out. The last 10lbs have been really hard fought thanks to the covid and cold. Sometimes less than a pound a week.
Anyway, it's still a pretty big milestone and accomplishment.
304lbs to 204lbs going from February 2021 to February 2022.
It's too bad I only logged the last 20lbs. It would have made a neat graph

Thats Huge! Congratulations! Wishing a speedy recovery to you.1

Congratulations! I'm still about 36 pounds away from a 100 pound loss. Just think back to when you first decided to start and all those doubts. You've done incredible and had so many wins along the way.2

You are right, that IS a huge milestone and accomplishment. All that hard work was worth it. Congratulations!2

Congratulations! I'm wishing you a speedy recovery!
WOW! A hundred pounds lost! I know you have to be feeling better and moving more freely! That's a lot of weight to lose!
It sucks that you can't adequately celebrate the weight loss.
I'm cheering for you! Keep up the good work! Just take it easy on yourself till you are feeling better.
I've lost 47 pounds from my highest weight ever recorded twice on the doctor's scale (9 months pregnant and NOT pregnant). I still have another 25 pounds to go to get into the HEALTHY range of my BMI. I sometimes wonder if I'll ever make it. But at my age (58), lack of mobility (knee replacement), and post menopause. I don't lose the weight like I did in my 20s.
I don't jump anymore during HIIT workouts. Doctor's orders say Low Impact from now on because I want to preserve the Replacement knee for as long as possible, and the other one might need replacing some day. I don't miss those Jumping Jacks anyway, but I do miss doing the Running Man! That was a cool move! And it looked so good when done right.
My mantra now is, "Slow and Steady Wins the Race!"
You can do this!!!5 -
Congratulations! That's the goal I've been fighting for for years now!1

You can do it! I always say that weight loss always "simple" it's just not always "easy"
Especially once you've been at it a while, those pounds become hard fought.2 -
Congrats! What an awesome accomplishment.1

You are such an inspiration. I started out at 270 a year ago and am 232.4 today. My goal is to lose 100 pounds. You show me that it can be done. Congratulations and thanks!!6

Congratulations! I'm so proud of you! I'm sorry it doesn't feel as celebratory as it should. I hope you will do something special for yourself! Xx2

Congratulations ! as others have said it is a major accomplishment .. sometimes it takes a while for the brain catches up with the bodies changes..1

Losing 100 lbs is a major accomplishment. Yeah!! But I completely understand about feeling worn out by colds and Covid. When I feel like crap, it’s hard to get excited about anything.
Please take care of yourself. Being at a healthy weight is only one part of good health. ❤️3 -
Congratulations! Maybe you'll feel more celebratory later.1

One hundred pounds is nothing to sneeze at. That's fantastic !!!!! Congrats, I do hope you can stop catching covid though, that sounds terrible and I'm so sorry to hear that. But keep going, you're going in the right direction. Now if I can just stay focused. Great job!1

Congrats! That is quite the milestone, you should be very proud of yourself. You give hope to those of us with the same amount needed to lose proof that it can be done. Well done!1

Congratulations on your awesome accomplishment. What will be your celebratory gift to yourself? What will be your next goal?0

My next goal is to get to my smallest size ever of 175. I was hovering and maintaining at about 185 for a couple of years before covid and was starting to put a little on, but then the lock down hit and I ballooned back up at light speed.
At 185 everyone told me I was "too skinny", but I still didn't have abs. I'm pretty determined this go around.
My gift to myself is feeling comfortable in my body4 -
Awesome well done. I weigh over 300lbs and have a lot of weight to lose. I am on a continual quest to lose weight. I feel positive this year and have just started my new nutrition plan yesterday.

I can relate to not feeling elated when you reach a long held goal. A few years ago I lost 60 odd pounds to get under 200 and it freaked me out a bit. That combined with the arrival of the Xmas season knocked me off my path and I am back at 244 aiming again to get under 200 lol.
I wish someone had got me to appreciate how well I had done at the time. I have some photos from that time and I looked great but I did not see it back then.
One thing that might help is finding something that weighs 100 pounds and then lift it (carefully) and appreciate just how much you have lost and how epic you are!
The item could be a barbell, a smallish person or maybe something from the list at the link below
https://weightofstuff.com/items-that-weigh-about-100-pounds/
In conclusion - you rock!!!!!!!4 -
You know, I like the idea of visualizing but maybe not lifted 100 lbs! I think when I finally get there, I must remember this and buy 10 x 10lb bags of potatoes, and just load and unload them from my car - and take a picture - then can donate them to the foodbank!
It seems to me you have lost weight at a great pace to be down 100 lbs - for me it comes on so very easily, but leaving...not so much! You mention the last 10 lbs have been slow, so really the first 90 off were very fast indeed - what an amazing feat tbh, 100 lbs in one year - marvelous!
I was trying for 40 off in 6 months, but only have a week left to lose the last few lbs and this week I went up .6 for no good reason, just the blasted scale toying with me. But enough about me lol.
Do take time to appreciate how far you have come, and I pray good health will come to you also. And thanks for posting as you have encouraged so many!5 -

The calorie estimates for weight loss on myfitnesspal are pretty accurate for me, it's only off by maybe 100 calories, but the "You'll be X pounds in 5 weeks" tends to be very accurate so long as I'm consistent.
Remember to exercise. I'm relatively athletic and exercise 2+ hours per day most days, but everyone should be doing a good 20-30 minutes per day for general health. That's really the difference between the scale moving and not moving for me.0 -
Congratulations! This is truly inspiring. Covid, no colds, YOU pushed through it! That is truly amazing! Take those selfies! You earned it.1

Celebrate! That is a big win!!! Congratulations!!!1

Congratulations! You've done an amazing thing.
That hundred pounds represents countless moments when you resisted temptation and demonstrated great self-control. Now, because of that missing weight your heart doesn't have to work so hard, your blood pressure is lower, your insulin is under control, your joints are relieved, and your risk of cancer has cut way down. Those colds are much less likely to turn into bronchitis or worse.
You can afford to be very proud of yourself. Go out and buy yourself a new outfit!1
