turn off swipe left/right to change day in diary entry mode interferes with delete option

I find deleting multiple entries for a day is harder than it should be because the swipe left/right to change the day gets activated half the time I'm trying to delete an entry. Please allow this to be turned off so delete is easier

It might be useful to specify which version of the app. Android or iOS?

PS: for deleting multiple items, there is a way without deleting items one by one. In Android, it's a little pencil icon at the top of the food diary, which activates check boxes to select several items. There's a similar function in iOS, but it looks a bit different I think (not a pencil?).
