@Nicoles0305 This is my second maintenance break and I've found them to be really helpful. The extra calories give me breathing room and take some of the pressure off. It's a good reset for my body, too. At some point, we'll both reach our goal weights and I see the maintenance breaks as a good way to practice in anticipation of that time. :)

@coblujay We mustn’t get ahead of ourselves, it will disturb the space time continuum.

We ALL have good rounds and bad but that is part of life. Don’t stay away, stay accountable. We don’t judge, we support.-Jpv,2/13/19

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.

People say keto/LCHF isn’t sustainable. I’ve been doing it for over 4.5 years with amazing results!

This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.

I’ve decided to do one. I’ve been considering it for a few days, but am going for it today. Well technically I ate more maintenance level calories yesterday too, but I consider today day one of break. I could use the refreshment right now. I’ve been hanging around the same weight for about 3 weeks now and I’m getting frustrated. A more relaxed approach sounds like just what I need.
