Iron is incorrectly calculated for kale

The app calculates 3 c kale at 3% RDA for iron. It should be 20% RDA.

The app isn't calculating anything. Entries in the database are crowdsourced from other users so it's just whatever some user entered when they put it in the database. There are likely numerous entries for kale so you might have to look around for a correct one or just input one yourself. Micro-nutrients like vitamins and minerals are also difficult to track accurately on MFP because most entries are made by users as per some form of packaging and there are numerous vitamins and minerals that aren't required to be put on food labels by the FDA...and thus wouldn't be entered or entered incorrectly to the database.
From experience I can tell you that trying to nail down vitamins and minerals using MFP is an exercise in futility.1 -
Yeah, @cwolfman13 is absolutely correct. I've been entering my own food because it seems like something is always messed up with the entries already inputted by someone else. Enter your food. Makes life easier.0
