Need some motivation to get off the couch today. Any suggestions other then just get up!

    Did you manage to get off the couch yesterday? Are you perhaps suffering from depression? That can keep one immobile. Only you can say. There are people that cannot lose weight without resolving personal problems first--through counseling.

    If you're sure that's not a problem then you'll have to look deep. Motivation has to come from you and it usually doesn't last long. If you've followed the boards at all in the many years you've been here, you know that it takes making habits. You have to feel out of sorts if you DON'T exercise or do some type of movement. Your body asks for it. That's where you want to be. You get there by finding movement that you like to do.
