good app to use with heartrate chest monitor

i'm exercising primarily on exercise bikes, so i'm looking for an app recommendation that will store heartrate, give me an alarm if i go over, and all that good stuff.

the apps i used to use tracked distance or steps, so i need something more appropriate for my current, non-stepping exercise.

    It might depend on what HRM you have....the Polar H10 has it's own Polar Beat app...but I think it can connect to an Apple watch generally.

    I don't use one with the ability to connect to an app bc it's cheaper but I'm sure other brands, other than Polar also have the ability to connect to a phone/app via bluetooth. Just will depend on how much you're looking to spend and what other bells/whistles you want.
