I came back from my honeymoon determined to lose that weight and get back on track which I did, I worked out 5 days last week and paid attention to what I ate and I still gained 2 pounds I don’t understand.

Your body is made of up to 60% of water. Water constantly fluctuates. Water does not equal body fat. You traveled? Water weight gain.
Your activity level, maybe even climate was different during honeymoon: Water weight gain
You started exercising again: WATER WEIGHT GAINZ! BIGZ TIMEZ (sorry, but it's true)
Give it time, and accept that body weight fluctuates all the time, mostly not due to fat, but due to changes in water content and the amount of waste in your intestines.10 -
Congratulations on your honeymoon!!
I'm sure you'll get tons of advice about the non-linear weight loss and give it time so I won't go there.2 -
I gained SEVEN pounds (of temporary water weight) when I started lifting weights again.
Before I got so close to menopause, I also gained a few pounds (of temporary water weight) when I ovulated and premenstrually. That taught me to compare myself to the same point in my cycle as last month, rather than any other point.
Give it time
Use a weight trending app such as Happy Scale (iphone) or Libra (Android) and focus on the trend, not the individual weigh-ins.2 -
It's likely just water retention for one of multiple reasons, just a few being travel, exercise, hormones, stress, salt, sleep, etc. Here's a great thread:

Travel, new exercise, time change, errrrr lack of sleep on honeymoon.
Flights and changes in cabin pressure can make me shoot up four or five pounds overnight.
Long drives can do the same (extended periods of sitting).
It’s all just temporary water retention.
Carry on. Sooner or later you’ll enjoy a nice long weewee. (Or, if you’re like me, you’ll be up all night like an old man with prostate issues. 🤦🏻♀️)2 -
And CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!🎉🍾
May you share a long healthy happy life together!2 -

You're going to have to analyze data from a lot longer than a week. Bodyweight isn't static...it fluctuates naturally with changes in water and waste. I can easily be up or down a couple of pounds day to day with natural fluctuations...even more if I've travelled by air, had a very salty day before, or more carbohydrates than usual (carbohydrates carry water). You need to look at the trend over time.2 -
Daily fluctuations, hormones, diet, stress, tiredness. Lots of reasons! If you weigh daily then divide by 7 you'll get a better idea (average) of your weight for the week0
