I am looking forward to March. My goal is to lose one pound per week this month. I know that doesn’t seem like an ambitious goal considering the early success I’ve had with keto since January 1st. However, the keto honeymoon is over for me. I’ve benefited from the initial whoosh of weight loss that occurs for me when I start Keto and become fat adapted.
I am now settled into a pretty steady state of ketosis and although I’m fully fat-adapted and burning ketones for fuel, my weight loss has predictively slowed. I am almost 60 days into a 100-day challenge to stay keto clean. One pound a week will be a challenge I can reasonably achieve. I hope to see many of you in the next 4 weeks on this challenge.

Trying for 1lb a week again, which I did not meet last month, but I don't expect to reach it. I'm deep in the tall weeds now. All the "beginner's" losses are long over with. Now I fight with my body's instinct for homeostasis. I'll aim high, and fall short. But it will be all KCKO, and I'll be happy with a loss for the month.2 -
I’ll be starting Monday as a Keto beginner. Getting into ketosis is going to be my biggest battle. I have just finish a cleanse. So I’m going to try and see how it goes. If any one has any key Micros or foods they recommend since you guys seem to have achieved it already. My goal is to loose 50lbs I’m 266 as of Today.3

Looks like March may be a slow weight loss month for me. No worries though, it is fully expected for my weight loss to slow down approaching my goal weight. Now is the time I really need to focus and pay attention. The good news is that my body fat and visceral fat have all gone down according to my Tanita scale and my inches have decreased according to my pants. Ha!
Seriously, I’ve been a little lazy with my keto discipline. Next week I hope to be able to report back here with a better effort on the keto/calorie front. My goals are in sight but out of reach without my BFF (Best Friend Forever) Keto.

Happy Saint Paddy’s Day to everyone. I have two birthday celebration feasts to overcome this week. Both my wife and son are going to require birthday dinners at their favorite restaurants. I will do my best to stay keto.
The good news is the weather is starting to break here in Eastern Washington State. Last week I logged several hours of lawn work for my exercise. I’m hoping to include softball in my outdoor exercise very soon!

Bad week in the weight loss column. Gained 2 pounds! I think it is the curse of the magic 170 number for me. This has been a real struggle for me these past few years. I get below 170 and start to think I can back off logging and tracking my food and exercise. Somehow, I think, if I don’t log my food it won’t show up on the scale
The good news is that senior softball season will start for me soon. Hopefully, outdoor activity will distract me from bad eating habits (Snacking). I will also log everything I eat this week to hold me accountable.
