How can I edit a meal in "My meals"?

You can do this two ways- on the fly as you enter the meal in the diary, you can change each entry.
Or, go to your settings page or “more” on the app, then to “my foods, recipes, and meals” then choose “edit.” Remember to save it, it’s really easy to back out without saving your changes from that screen.1 -

I guess on the web/desktop version you’d have to enter it into your diary, edit it there, then save it as a new meal and delete the old version. I don’t see an edit option on the web/desktop version for meals.
If it’s an ingredient you use a lot, maybe set the amount to zero instead of deleting it. That way it’s there as a holding space, and you don’t have to adjust the meal. You can just delete the ones you don’t use when you enter the meal.
I have “meals” that are really just holding spaces for foods I use but infrequently and don’t want to waste time searching for. Like all the various chicken entries- breast vs thigh, skinned vs not, cooked vs raw, and the variations thereof. It’s easier to pull up that “meal” and delete the unwanted ones than try to remember the correct wording of the accurate entry. Same way with seasonal veggies.
I see that you can edit recipes there on the desktop/web. However, I don’t use that version, maybe someone with more experience there will know.2 -
I had this same question. I've been scouring the web version and can't seem to find the option to edit a meal. Quite frustrating. I don't always have access to my cell phone. Why are some things only accessible on the app vs. the web version and vice versa?0
