    Start there, do that stuff. While you're doing that, chip away at reading the "Most Helpful Posts" sections in the "Getting Started" and "Health and Weight Loss" parts of the MFP Community.

    Tell us all what you are doing, and maybe we can see gaps in your understanding. :) I'm having a bad week this week so I feel your pain. Tracking, tracking, weighing, tracking and weighing are key.
