Dark Mode/Theme

I just downloaded the myfitnesspal app for iPhone 8. Previously I was using the Fitbit app on my phone using a Fitbit Charge 2 watch.
I am trying to find where I can change the app's display to be dark mode. I am visually impaired, and I really can't see things well viewing on white background. Dark mode works best for me.
Yes, my phone is already set for dark mode, but the app itself still appears as white. I did look in Settings, but nothing indicates such feature to change the display.
Any help would be appreciated.

I came back to MyFitnessPal from LoseIt…thought I’d see if you had implemented a dark mode yet.
Nope
29 days and I’ll renew my annual subscription with LoseIt. They seem to have figured it out. So much easier on the eyes.0 -
Funnily enough, I just recently discovered the MFP app does have a dark mode. But I have android, not iOS.0
