Hi just out of curiosity have anyone reached goal weight again?
I have reached my weigh loss goal of 50lbs a couple of years ago and then after that I gained 20lbs and it seems that however I try i can never reach my goal again
I do struggle with pcos and i take metformin which helps my hormones but not my weight issues …anyone had this kind of experience?

I ended up below goal weight the last time I worked to lose weight. Still, I know how hard it is to go back and start over. It seems like the quick and easy losses I had years ago were harder to do. Instead of dropping a lot of weight the first couple of weeks, I only lost a little and it took more focus and effort. I learned that I had to forget about quick and easy and go for long and sustainable. Patience is hard, but it is the only thing that is going to work. Be consistent and the weight will come off. it may be slower than it was last time, but you have less to lose, so you'll get there sooner than you think. Just focus on the day to day and week to week, not how long it is taking.1

Yep. I spent most of my life in the 130s, but gained to over 200lbs slowly during my very doctorate.
Once I graduated I lost all of the weight and maintained the loss for a good length of time. Then I got very ill and injured and with many nasty meds and losing my ability to move much, I regained some of the weight.
I really struggled to re-lose it despite quitting alcohol and eating the same way I had when I had easily, but slowly, lost the weight the first time. Being bed ridden a lot of the time made it hard, and my metabolism was shot. I was lethargic all the time. I could barely lose a half pound a month eating 1200-1350 calories per day (strictly weighed and logged). I gained very easily if I was off diet at all.
My neurologist prescribed Intermittent Fasting to help with some nerve pain, which has not helped at all with that, but definitely boosted my energy levels and basically fixed my sluggish metabolism. I'm back to being able to lose at the same rate I did before while eating more calories and being able to freely eat greasy restaurant food once in awhile without fearing weight gain. I feel much more vital and motivated to get up and move around even though it's hard on crutches.
As of today I'm back down into the 130s.1
