Fitbit steps not autosyncing to MFP?

I have linked my fitbit but i struggle to get my steps to sync to MFP, even when I put it on the charger and tey refreshing it still doesn't work, I need to unlink then relink fitbit for it to work and even then it sometimes doesn't work. Any tips or settings i don't have right?
