When looking at your weekly average calories what is the main thing to look at ? Net calories or daily ?

I look at net calories on the weekly stat. My activity level varies from day to day. But I’m often hungrier the day after a very active day. So the weekly stat helps me balance out based on hunger or fit in indulgences or birthday celebrations.0

Net if you are trying to track/manage your calorie balance.
My needs and intake vary enormously so only looking at my food intake would only tell half the story.0 -
Using MFP as designed, net calories are what matter. I haven't used the MFP method in a very long time and switched to the TDEE method long ago for which total calories are what matter. You just have to understand what method you're using and the way each of the two methods work.1
