Fitbit connection

Good evening

I have a Fitbit inspire 2 and cannot link to my fitness pal I have disconnected both but when it says connect it send me back to this Home Screen saying Fitbit account linked and it does it every single time no matter if I disconnect and reconnect I would like them both syncing but I keep getting thrown to it saying Fitbit account linked please help be much appreciated
