Hubby and I went shopping tonight. We've been going and at least "window shopping" for the past few weekends...why? Because I can now go to the mall and fit in some of the clothes they sell there.
Anyway, here's my story. When I started my weight loss journey in January, I was in a size 24W jeans and between a 1X and 2X top. Tonight, on a whim, I grabbed a pair of jeans while we were in American Eagle...just for kicks, you know. Went into the dressing room, dreading the feel of disappointment when I tried to put these jeans on. BUT, I got them up, buttoned AND zipped!! I still had a little muffin top that told me the jeans were still just a TAD too small, but they were on! The jeans were a size 14!!!!! They fit beautifully everywhere but just around my waist. Another ten pounds or so and they'll be fitting like they were made for me.
So excited!

That is awesome! I think that trying on different clothes sizes is what has motivated me the most because while the scale can sit on the same weight sometimes weeks straight, we are still gaining muscle and toning0
