Steps vs work outs

So I was wondering. I know that my fitness pal collects my steps I’ve done in a day. Let’s say today I did 10,000 steps and it calculated around 135 cal. But I also did a 3 mile run which on my Apple Watch said it was around 400 cal burned. Should I add that into my cardio exercise. Should I lower the amount so that it matches 400. I don’t want to input more than what I’ve burned so that I can be constant with it. Some input would be great thank you!

If you're using an Apple Watch and recording exercises through it, those exercises should be imported into MFP automatically. If this isn't happening, your watch isn't set up correctly with the app. Please reach out to our tech support team via the links at the top of the page.
