I've spent my life usually wanting to lose 5 pounds, but really being in pretty good shape but lockdowns and job loss changed that. Now I have more like 40 or 45 to lose.
It's been very helpful seeing nutrition information as I log. My biggest difficulty has been getting enough protein in relation to fat and carbs which surprised me since I eat a lot of fish and other foods that are generally good for protein.
