Does anyone want to join me in challenge to nail your first unassisted pull up? Or maybe just to improve what you can already do?
At one point I was able to do one unassisted pull up. Well, I have gained a few pounds and lost some strength since that time in my life. My goal is to be able to do not just one but several unassisted pull ups.
I did some research on plans last night. I think I'm going to go with this plan

It looks like it would be a good plan to add to a 3 day a week strength training routine. I will put the emphasis on the pull ups having the back training be my first exercise each day. I'm going to start at level two. I should be able to move to level 3 fairly quickly but I think that is where I will start to struggle. It might take me more than 30 days to get my first unassisted pull up and I'm ok with that.
Let me know if you want to do this challenge and what your plan is!
BTW I'm a 38F with 3 school aged kids and I work as an RN so I understand being busy and needing to prioritize fitness!
