Leg pains fitness walking

I am beginning from square one after I was sidetracked by three injuries (torn Plantar Facia, torn ACL, broken heel). All have healed, I bought new sneakers (from a sneaker store) and two weeks ago I started walking daily. For some reason during the first 1-2 miles I have a lot of pain in my legs - knee to ankle to the outer sides of my shin bones. Speed doesn't seem to matter and after 2 miles I can go for eternity pain free ....

Any advice appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Were you fit by a professional? Did you actually go to a running store? If not. I would do this. It may be you're in the wrong shoes. Getting fit by someone who watched how you walk, and then had you try several different shoes is the best way.
    Good luck

Yes -- I went to the running store near me (Marathon Sports). I guess I was wondering if other people have the same discomfort when they get started - this pain is new to me but I have never started from the beginning the way I am now. I have been off the track for at least three years.

If your injuries healed but still having issues, maybe you should see your doctor?

Personally, I occasionally have short lived pain on a walk. Or random itchiness. It either is related to my shoes being toed too tight or an increase in circulation. It usually goes away after a quarter mile. Yours sounds a lot more persistent. I'd have a doctor check it out
