Eating well could result in weight loss, weight maintenance and weight gain, depending on how many calories you consume.

So are you tracking your calorie intake?

Also, if you're new to exercising, it can result in water weight gain, temporarily masking fat loss on the scale.

If you give more details (current and goal weight, sex, age, height, calorie intake, exercise,...) we can give more specific advice.

It always comes down to how much you are eating, not what you are eating. Healthy food still has calories. Eat too much and you'll gain weight. A lot of marathoners are surprised that they can gain weight while running 50 miles a week, but it isn't that difficult to eat more calories than you are burning, even at that level of exercise.

What's your explanation for gaining 10lbs OP?
What does "all the things" mean to you?

I worked out for the 20 years I was overweight.
I ate well for the 20 years I was overweight.
What was missing was being in a calorie deficit.

Beyond being told to eat less I'm not sure what guidance you are looking for so more information about yourself and what you are doing would help.

My own scale went up 7 pounds when I started weight lifting again. Add in ovulation or being premenstrual and some Chinese food, and 10 pounds of water weight is not at all unreasonable for me.

However, I've also gained 10 pounds from overeating ;)
