Walking Vs. Cardio at home

Hello fitness family! I am trying my hardest to get back into the swing of things to get this weight off. Not to mention in June I have my best friends wedding to attend and it will also be a little vacation for the husband and I. So it would be nice to have lost a decent amount of weight to not look back at all the pictures I know will be taken and hate what I see like I always do. I know I wont be able to loose the total 50 to 60lbs I want to loose but just enough to feel comfortable in the pictures. So since its been awhile since I have done anything I was going to start walking again on my trails and maybe eventually get back to doing my cardio videos at home. My question is in your opinion which is better or do you think is better, walking or doing cardio at home? Or it doesn't really matter both are great and even better together. Thanks in advance for all your input! :)

Weight loss is almost entirely about getting your calories eaten lower than your calories burned.

Exercise is definitely worth doing, for appearance and health.

Either walking or cardio burn calories. Do what you enjoy most, because exercise we enjoy (therefore do regularly) is 100% more healthful and calorie-burning than exercise we dislike so put off and skip often. Whatever you do, keep it energizing, not exhausting. Exhausting exercise is counterproductive, makes us drag through our day, burn fewer calories in daily life.

    Best wishes!

Brisk 1 hour walk in the morning and a workout video in the evening is what I do. My weight is dropping *slowly* because i have to make monumental effort with my diet lol but exercising 2x a day if you can manage is great.
