how many calories burned?

I have been logging exercise from work as " walking with a dog" as it seems the closest thing, but I don't have a dog! :blushing:
When Iog calories from walking "with a dog" what I'm actually doing is walking pretty fast pushing a buggy ( buggy + 2 babies weighs approx 40kgs) and it's quite hilly where I work.
I'd like to know if I'm over or under estimating the number of calories I'm burning.
Thanks.

Only way of knowing the accurate calorie burn for you is to buy and wear a Heart Rate Monitor. Since it takes into account your gender, height, weight and age. MFP is or was close to what I burn, but not totally accurate it overestimated. Not by a lot though give or take 50 cals. Now with HRM I KNOW what I have actually burned.

One mile = 100 calories approximately. That is underestimating too, so if you went by 100 calories per mile, it is pretty safe
