Suits for Women?

Hi ladies,

I have an interview coming up and my old suit doesn't fit. Yay but also not-so yay because I am job hunting and therefore don't exactly have a budget for new clothes. So, I have two questions.

1) Does anyone have any experience getting their suit taken in after losing weight? My old one is pretty nice so I'd love to keep using it if I can but I'm also afraid of it getting ruined in the process.

2) Can anyone recommend a good place for affordable suits for women. There seem to be plenty of suit warehouses for men but I don't think they generally cary women's lines. The industry my interview is fairly conservative so I need something simple and as good quality as I can get without spending too much - say no more than roughly $100.
