25, 5'2, 180 lbs and my goal is to get 130-135 (depending on how I feel not just the scale)

Hello! Feel free to call me Jazz. I'm 25 and have a goal of getting to 130-135 lbs. This goal is flexible because it depends on how I feel and look in my clothes. If I get to 140 and feel great then I'll just maintain! I think I have finally got over body dysmorphia ( I hope!) so I'm going to focus on my BP numbers, resting HR, and if my clothes are feeling loser or tighter. I will be using the scale because for my height not only is my weight high but my body fat % is high. I need to decrease both of those so that I can lower my risk for the many health problems that occur in my family. I would love to connect with other people and follow you all! Let's be friends

Hey Jazz! I am in a very similar situation. I'm about 5'2", 26 years old, and I started at 183lbs in 2017. Long story short, I got down to 125 and then stopped tracking my food because I thought I had "made it" and could stop. Anyway, your mention of paying attention to how you feel and other health measures really resonates with me. I focused too much on the scale the first time and I'm on a mission to focus on my health instead this time around. I'm currently at 163 and hoping to get down to 150 or 140 depending on all of the health measures you mentioned! I'd love to motivate and support each other along the way. I'll send you a friend request0
