I’m new reading the labels of my food, so what does serving size mean? also, some recipes here list a larger amount of protein, for example, but when taking a look at the ingredients and recipes, the nutrition numbers are less. How can I calibrate my food so it fits the total amount of macros that the blueprint recipe suggested?
Thanks! x

A serving size is really just the size of the serving you ate. 😀
Which is why it can be good to weigh food for logging purposes.
Anyone can add a recipe to the database and they may not use the same amount or brand in their recipes. If you make something yourself, your best bet is to create it with the ingredients and amounts YOU'RE using so it's tailored to your goal.
Or use someone elses's and just be off and not worry about it. 😀1 -
On a label, serving size generally means the amount of food for which they're providing nutritional information, at least in the U.S. (Outside the U.S. I believe it is common for the nutritional information to be for 100 grams, which makes math easy even if 100 grams isn't a typical serving size for that particular food.)
For recipes, I think it makes sense to enter your own in the recipe calculator, but I know some people find that to be too much effort.1
