Can you suggest foods which can help to meet the daily calorie goal as often I am full and fall short by 200-300 calories

If full, go for things that are calorie-dense. Treats can be fine, especially if your nutrition is in good shape beforehand. If you want to add more nutrient-dense calories, consider things like nuts, nut butters, seeds, avocados, full-fat rather than non-fat dairy if you eat dairy, fattier cuts of meat or fish if you eat those, etc.
I'm glad you've figured out that routinely lowballing your calorie goal is a bad idea: You're being smart!0
