Weight loss during menopause

I struggle to lose 8 kg to reach my 30s weight level despite regular exercise and continuous efforts to keep carbs low (40-100 gr) and protein high. I ménage to drop 2-3 kg then back and over. Any advice? Or my goal is completely unattainable?

How's your calorie intake? That's the direct determinant of body weight, in context of you activity level. Macro mix has an indirect effect via things like energy level or appetite, at most. (I eat lots of carbs (like 225g+ daily), and enough protein, among other nutritional goals, weigh what I did in my 20s, at age 66 and female. It's about the calories, IME - could be intake, could be activity, could be how the intake and activity are accounted for . . . but I'd bet on calories.)
