Struggling to gain mass and stick to my diet plan

Hi, I am a diabetic Type 2 and have lost significant weight to bring blood glucose levels to a point where my doctor has assured I'm a non diabetic at the moment. But I want to gain mass and struggling to keep to a diet that can help me gain mass and sort of lack motivation to even go to the gym lately. Does anyone follow any strict diet plans or gum routines that helps him stay motivated or determined to reach his goal?
