There isn't a best percentage - it's the actual amounts you eat that matters.
Within those amounts there's a huge range of personal choice, especially around fat and carbs.

And of course your calorie allowance has a huge impact on the resulting amounts that a certain percentage gives you.
e.g. 25% of protein of my 3,000 calories would obviously be double the amount in grams of someone eating 25% of a 1,500 calorie limit.

This is well worth a read - https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/819055/setting-your-calorie-and-macro-targets/p1

Tips - keep reviewing your diary and make adjustments if required. Do remember that precision in macros isn't a requirement and can become an additional restrictive burden.

The best macro percentage is the one that keeps YOU the most full within your calorie budget. I used to know lots of healthy and fit vegetarians and vegans who likely ate 70% carbs. Some people here swear by keto and eating no more than 5% carbs. I'm happy with close to the MFP default macros of 50% from carbohydrates, 20% from protein and 30% from fat, although I might give a few carbs to protein. I do need to decrease foods made from wheat and make sure I eat plenty of high fiber and bulky carbs.

Best way for me to hit my macro goals (hit protein goal; stay under fat number (for a medical condition)) is to prelog so I can make adjustments as needed.
