Elevated Heart Rate / BMR / Cardio BPM Goals ?

I hope this is the right place for this!! I have a big long drawn out story, so I'm just going to boil it down to this -

I get migraines and my neurologist has me on a preventative med, nortriptyline, which is an anti-depressant that works as a migraine prevention med. I recently realized that because of the medicine, my heart rate is elevated so that at rest, my pulse is 90-100bpms. I mentioned this to his PA who discussed it with him, but they didn't call me back so I'm pretty sure that means it's no big deal (they're a good practice so I'm not worried). What I was wondering is this - does a constantly elevated heart rate affect my BMR in any way? Does it affect what my bpm goal should be doing cardio?

(I recently learned all about TDEE and eating back calories after about 4 years of 1200 calorie eating with little to no weight loss and with weight easily regained, so I'm already on the edge of confusion; )
