I have struggled all my life with wgt - up and down up and down and starving.
I have been studying and reading. Dr Hyman and Dr Ludwig’s books have changed the way I think about macros and changed the way I have lost wgt. I am no longer hungry and I am no longer spending hours daily working out. I work out with kick boxing 3- 4 hours a week and spin 2 45 min sessions a week plus some weight training twice a week.
In reading the information they have offered I am feeling better and for the first time confident I may actually reach my goal weight.
I am excited about this !!

Macros are totally individual. If what you read in these books works for you then that's great. Btw, I don't know them but it doesn't matter. Important is for your weightloss that you feel full and happy.
You're also doing a lot of exercise. I hope you're eating at least a part of the exercise calories back. Your history of losing and gaining sounds a bit like you're expecting something to happen quickly, and once you've reached your goal you give up. Over-exercising and not eating enough can be part of that. So please eat enough to fuel your exercise and body. Exercises are meant to be added to your calorie allowance in MFP. Stay patient. Weight and track thoroughly, best with a food scale in grams. And learn new habits that you're able to keep up.2 -

I have never been accused of eating too less, that’s for sure. Or, exercising too much. I am not in any stretch of the imagination losing too fast, about .5 to 1# every 1-2 weeks. I have been at this a very long time, from age 12 to nearly 60. I could rattle off every scheme out there. Although, having said that, I still hear from people I come across new schemes that are coming up all the time. For my entertainment, I read scientific peer reviewed journals during my lunch hour, trying to stay informed of the new data and studies. There’s so much to learn and so little time. For today, this seems to be working and keeping me satisfied and full - no cravings and no real hunger. I’m grateful today.

I'm glad you've found something that is working for you right now, be prepared to change tactics when and if it stops working.
Dr. Hyman is a functional medicine proponent and Ludwig's hypotheses (his expertise is mostly in relation to pediatric endocrinology) have been largely keto or low carb. Keto and certain lower carb plans do help some people jumpstart weight loss by breaking the high-carb habits that lead to hunger for a lot of people with insulin or other hormonal issues.
I lost most of my weight on macros of 30-40% Carbs, 40-50% Fat, and 20% Protein, which is a little lower carb and necessitated limiting grains and sugars to stay there BUT now that I'm on Maintenance calories for the past 15 years I eat quite a lot of carbs - more in line with the 50C 30F 20P that Myfitnesspal suggests.
I don't think keto and/or super low carb are good for the long-term unless the person is trying very hard to hit all their other nutrients that can easily get missed with low carb.
Just be aware and attuned to your body. Things might start to function in a less than optimal way with long-term use of keto.
