    Successes/struggles of the week: Eating out is very difficult. We like "hole in the wall" places of a variety of ethnic foods. It's a total guess on calories, which makes it difficult to know how much I have left for dinner calories or whatever. I'll have to figure out how to be okay with uncertainty once a week.

    No real struggles, happy to be drifting down the scale in preparation for holidays ahead.

    @LiveOnceBeHappy – it can take a while to settle into the mindset of maintenance – balancing relaxing the constraints of strict calorie counting with still keeping an eye on your intake. I find that eating out (as long as it’s not too frequent) can be managed very well. Just remember some of the things you learned over those 8 months of losing.

    Success/Struggle: Did really well in the first half of the week and fell apart in the last half.
    Life is good but challenging. I had to give a talk at three different services at church and organize the signup tables, etc. It was a definite "out of my comfort zone" experience. I had to fit eating in there somehow and not exercising or tracking. The event did go well though.

    Success of the week: My average weight is finally back in my ideal range for the first time since one week in December. Before that it was November 2020. It had been right at 150.0 a couple more times, but not between 140 and 150.

    Struggle of the week: A very stressful week at work. This points me to another success; I did not let it derail my eating plans. Unfortunately I missed out on some exercise.

    April was a quiet month – a couple of days out and a short visit with my daughter, even Easter was low key. So, I’m starting May in a good place weight-wise.
    However, I have holidays coming up now – we’ll see how that works out. Flying out to Kos later in May – first flight for over 2 years!

    Successes/struggles of the week: It was a very busy weekend as I was out of town, which came with lots of eating out, and associated water weight retention. As I hadn't yet fully gotten rid of water weight from the previous week, this just added more on top of that, pushing me up pretty high out of range. :(

    I was away in my motorhome for a few days last week. Did lots of walking (sightseeing) and came home a little lighter than before I went away in spite of ice cream, beer and cheesecake!
    This week I fly out to Kos for 2 weeks but weight wise I’m in a good place and I will be cycling, walking and swimming while I’m away.
