HELLO to all and hope that I find inspiration! I've been doing this work (tracking, working on getting healthy, etc.) for many years, but have kept it to myself for the most part. And that's not worked. So I'm reaching out finally and hoping that you all inspire me. Also if I can help someone else along the way that's great. Here's to day 1 again (but this time it's the last day 1)!
So now that that's out there I'm looking for some kindred spirits to share their experience with two things and find out how you manage. First - I don't eat bad foods. I eat healthy, organic, natural, lots of vegetarian and seafood, almost exclusively home cooked. The but is, I eat too much of that food and as we all know it doesn't matter if I overeat good food, it will still pack on the pounds. Any others out there?
Second - I do have a terrible sugar addiction that I struggle with every single day. I can't eat one granola bar or a bowl of shredded wheat cause it will trigger a binge and then I'm face first in a pile of hershey kiss wrappers. Other than elimination diets, how have you managed if you're sugar fiend like me?
